When I was a teenager I had a close family member survive a heat attack. This was a devastating time in our family. We never thought heart disease would effect anyone in our family. The immediate months following his heart attack changed my world. As I sat in on doctor appointments at the hospital listening to the doctors advice on healthy eating habits and a regular exercise routine I became aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle at young age.
Today I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be living my dream as a yoga instructor and be able to teach others a healthy, stress free lifestyle.
Not only does the American Heart Association fund research to save lives, but also they promote healthy lifestyles which aligns with my personal mission. I am proud to support the American Heart Association and so thankful for your support as well.
